Installing Software

FRC Driver Station, the software used to control your robot and communicate with the competition field, can only be run on computers with Windows 10 or 11.
Software for motor controllers:
You only need to install software for the motor controllers you use.
The REV Hardware Client is required to work with SPARK MAX and SPARK Flex motor controllers. These motor controllers are compatible with all REV NEO motors and legal brushed motors (the CIM family, 775 style motors, etc.). Please note that the NEO Vortex requires an adapter to work with the SPARK MAX.
The Phoenix Framework includes Phoenix Tuner which is required for the usage of Victor SPX, Talon SRX and Talon FX motor controllers. These controllers also work with all legal brushed motors except for the Talon FX, which is an integrated motor controller.
